Leah has a strong background in both Statutory and Strategic Planning with over 10 years experience in the planning industry. She has been responsible for the delivery of Planning Scheme Amendments, Strategic Projects and Planning Permit processes as part of her roles within Statutory Planning, Strategic Planning, Environmental Planning and Recreation and Open Space teams in Regional and Rural Local Government.
Leah also brings her strong administration and research background to the team with attention to detail. She is a great communicator and responsive to client needs. Leah has worked on both sides of the fence – as an Owner/Operator in the building industry sourcing permits – and a Strategic Planning for Local Government assessing applications.

Martin is a problem solver with extensive and growing skills in planning, imagery and visualisation. With a background sourcing planning permits for a leading building company, Marty has built on his planning skills to include all aspects of sourcing statutory permits. As a CASA-licensed drone pilot, Marty is able to add value to projects through aerial mapping and imagery, in addition to using 3D drafting to bring concepts to life. Marty brings technological creativity to the task and is a stickler for detail and precision.

Nathan is our principal planner who specialises in large scale strategic planning projects. Nathan has led a variety of major projects such as land capability, planning scheme review, commercial developments, urban design and heritage reviews. Nathan’s background in natural resource management and social planning provides your project with a one stop shop for success – whether its a simple shed permit – to the complex commercial development. He is a team builder and group facilitator that is able to bring a group back on mission. Above all, Nathan’s relationship skills drive projects to great outcomes.

Naomi has 20 years experience as a communication specialist across a range of industries including local government, education, healthcare, forestry, primary industries, community development, finance, FMCG, environment and small business. Naomi has expertise in community consultation, employee communication, social media, and communication strategy. Naomi joins Utilis with an additional recruitment hat on – with an extensive knowledge across a range of Western Victorian industries.
Naomi is an Age published writer with specialist skills in communication. She founded and currently maintains the widely successful Wooly West Fest – a demonstration of and tribute to the power of volunteerism. Naomi has had great success in grant writing and managing social media for business.

Brad has a diverse range of skills including planning, environmental and project management. He has worked across a range of industries including catchment management, water and business development. Having carved out a niche in floodplain management and planning, Brad continues to provide flood risk and statutory support to a range of clients. Having a strong background in working with and for CMA’s, Councils and other authorities – Brad has unique specialist and local knowledge to guide both private and public projects.
